MIND (Mobility in Dystrophy) Trust founded in 2017, is a nascent fellowship of persons with Muscular Dystrophy (MD) and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) in Kerala.  MD and SMA are progressive genetic disorders, that is, though the diseases may be localized to one part of the body in the beginning, it gradually spreads to other parts, leading finally to a complete cessation of physical movement.

MIND works to make an inclusive society where a person with a disability can lead a normal life without being excluded. As an organization, MIND’s objectives are focused on awareness, Education, Skill development, Rehabilitation, and Research. For the realization of these five objectives, MIND is currently engaged in 17 projects in various thematic areas.
