Our objectives
- Creating Public Awareness on Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Muscular Dystrophy (MD) through various campaigns, seminars, and gatherings.
- Supporting the education of children with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Muscular Dystrophy (MD) and enhancing the continuing education of adult beneficiaries.
- Supporting MIND beneficiaries to not only get employment opportunities through skill development but also by connecting employers to potential employees.
- Achieve a Comprehensive Rehabilitation center for people with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Muscular Dystrophy (MD) which will support their livelihood, daily affairs, education, medical treatment, and mental well-being
- Conducting and facilitating Research activities around Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Muscular Dystrophy (MD) on sociological, medical, and economical fronts.
Mission Statement
Transform the lives of people affected with Muscular Dystrophy. As of now there is no concrete medicine available, however we need to manage our self till getting a medicine. Stay focused on keeping current condition intact.
Mobility in Dystrophy (MIND) Trust was formed in 2017, by us patients suffering from Muscular Dystrophy (MD) & Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). In 2016, we started off as a small Whatsapp group of patients reaching out to each other.
