The first wheelchair TV anchor in India.It all started with the promotion of the movie Aalkoottathil Thaniye, anchored in a wheelchair. Then it came to the program of some online channels. But as the effort dragged on, Goodness TV realized its dream of becoming a wheelchair television anchor by presenting a program. She is a a person with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She has a passionate and ambitious mind even though her physical mobility is restricted. She got the inspiration to turn to television as a mode of communication from Muniba Mazari. She looks up Muniba Mazari, a well-known Pakistani disability rights activist as a role model. Muniba Mazari is a respected motivational speaker and hosts TV shows. Being in a wheelchair is not a barrier to Veena Venugopal who is always vivacious, like a gurgling stream. She is always speaking with joyous abandon and a sense of optimism which is unparalleled. Her never give up attitude and the help of an NGO MinD, helped her to overcome challenges and change her life into success.Now she is the Project lead of iV2S in Prajaahita foundation. She anchored Movie Pooja Function- Alkkootathil Oruvan, music program in pravasi vision Online channel, Onam special program in Goodness TV, Stage programs, Online Events, Interviews in Happy Buddies Family YouTube Channel. Her achievements are Eastern Bhoomika Iconic Women of the year 2020,Winner of Malayala Puraskaram 1195, Campaigner of NGO MIND ( Mobility In Dystrophy ).

Mobility in Dystrophy (MIND) Trust was formed in 2017, by us patients suffering from Muscular Dystrophy (MD) & Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). In 2016, we started off as a small Whatsapp group of patients reaching out to each other.
