Snehasammanam

Snehasammanam, a project of Mobility In Dystrophy (MIND) trust, is dedicated to providing financial support to the unemployed and financially disadvantaged individuals with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Muscular Dystrophy (MD) to meet important needs such as medical care, marriage expenses and housing bills. Due to its significant impact, Snehasammanam has become one of the most commendable projects within MIND trust. When individuals approach MIND with their needs, the trust actively investigates their requirements, provides them with the necessary financial support, and subsequently informs them once their needs have been fulfilled. Snehasammanam originated from a compassionate community within the MIND family. It aims to support those facing financial struggles and reminds them that they are not alone; there is a supportive MIND community for them. Employees and income earners within the MIND family contribute as much as they can to MIND's bank account, and these funds are then used to provide financial assistance to deserving individuals. In the long run, the project aims to offer a steady monthly financial aid to those in need and seeks financial support from various organizations, sponsors, well-wishers, and other sources. As part of the project, beneficiaries facing financial difficulties receive a pension on a monthly basis. From April 2022 to July 2023, the project has provided a total of 2,03,000 rupees in financial support.
